Just down the road from our huts, Tinwood Estate offers award-winning English sparkling wines set among stunning vineyards. Visitors can enjoy tastings on the terrace overlooking the vines, vineyard tours, and even afternoon teas or sunset sessions. It’s an ideal afternoon outing to sample the best of Sussex winemaking.
3. Halnaker Windmill
A short scenic walk from the village leads to the famous Halnaker Windmill, one of the most photographed landmarks in West Sussex. Perched on top of Halnaker Hill, it offers spectacular 360° views across the countryside to the sea. The beautiful tree-lined “Tunnel of Trees” path to the windmill is a must-see in autumn when it glows in golden hues.
4. Goodwood Motor Circuit & Festival of Speed
Motorsport enthusiasts are just minutes away from Goodwood’s legendary circuit. Throughout the year, Goodwood hosts unmissable events including the Festival of Speed, Revival, and various track days that celebrate everything from vintage cars to modern performance machines.
